When it comes to our lunch breaks, many of us resort to the usual, plain, and uninspiring supermarket sandwiches. But after a hard morning at the office, you deserve a lunch break that is a little more inspiring and enjoyable.
Working in the wonderful town of Harrogate, we are surrounded by many independent and delightful lunch spots. From some well-known local businesses to some little hidden treasures, here are some of the best lunch break spots in Harrogate.

Baltzersens is a well-known name in the Harrogate café scene. With Yorkshire produce and a Scandinavian touch, everything on their menu is tempting and delicious. Of course, you can sit and eat in the wonderfully cosy and casual café or outside eating area, but they have also created a lunch option designed for those on the go! Their take away lunch deal allows you to take a sandwich, mini brownie, and a hot drink for just £6. Whether featuring their famously delicious salad, or local halloumi and delicious houmous, they have a couple of lovely options each day. And their chocolate brownies are pretty spectacular – Nutella and classic chocolate being a firm favourite of ours. This lunch deal will leave you feeling satisfied and ready to tackle the rest of the afternoon.
