New changes to Shopping for Mobile users
It’s no surprise that retailers are putting an increasingly more emphasis on Mobile ads. How many households even have a desktop anymore? The Smart phone and tablet have made surfing the web with a desktop almost as obsolete as the phrase ‘surfing the web’. Gone are the days of dial up.
So it’s no surprise that Google are trying to keep up with the trend. Last year Google saw an increase of 30% in mobile searches. We can see from our own clients that mobile visits are slowly creeping up on desktop visits.
From Google’s research they have found that the main features that consumers look for when shopping online is a product image, the price and where they can buy it. This is why Google are now introducing shopping ads on image search. Now ads will appear while people are browsing through images.
