BUILDING A SUCCESSFUL AND SCALABLE PPC MODEL

A client in the Hair and Beauty industry had employed a well-known digital agency from the North East to handle their PPC & SEO but had been unhappy with the results and the costs incurred so sought help elsewhere and we were engaged with a brief to improve their rankings and traffic.

We recognised the huge potential that PPC could achieve for the business and encouraged the company to invest in a small scale campaign that could be built upon once an efficient, cost effective and profitable model had been established.

This we did fairly quickly and, with an understanding that we could grow the campaign provided we could deliver effective and profitable traffic, we have grown the campaign steadily and profitably to considerably expand the business.

Over this time we have seen an annual average 21% increase in traffic, a 14.5% reduction in bounce rate, a 27% increase in pages per session, a 15% increase in the conversion rate, a 40% increase in orders and a 46% increase in revenue.

The PPC Campaign is consistently delivering sales at less than 10% of cost, thanks to a highly developed a well optimised campaign run by Zelst’s Account Manager, Sophie; “working closely with our client, we have been able to specifically target the most profitable areas of business for them, be it brands or individual products, and really grow their business”.
